William Gerstein, Associate Broker, Houlihan Lawrence Commercial Group, has a natural interest and instinct for real estate and development. He began studying architectural drawing as a high school student and worked as an intern /apprentice for Douglas Michaels, Architect, in Washington DC. As an undergraduate he continued his studies at Pratt Institute Brooklyn NY, The School of Visual Arts in New York City, and earned his BA from CUNY in 1980. He completed 30 credits of Post Graduate studies at CUNY over the following two years.
William has hands on experience in the acquisition & renovation for sale of properties as a principal in NYC prior to relocating to Putnam County NY in 1983 where he has represented many local Westchester, Putnam & Dutchess County developers. He is proficient in all phases site development; taking projects from raw land though the approval process, to the delivery of turn key commercial buildings. He has been an active commercial broker in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties for well over thirty years.
